Would a forum that allows buying / selling / trading work?

    I'm just wondering how well would a forum that allows buying / selling / trading work?

    it's working very well here for digitalpoint.
    but how well would it be, if it's just a forum for buying / selling / trading ?

    for one, i think it'll be good as people would have more comments and discussion before buying something.


    what do you say?

    Sure it would work if you could bring big enough traffic to it, if people see your forum has many visitors, people will more likely to do business there.

    Agreed it could work very well, but getting the the amount of traffic to maybe compete with DP might be quite hard.

    Saying that though, times are hard in most country's doe to the credit crunch and more and more people are looking on the internet to make money.

    The Forum owner would've to work real real hard to compete with top forums like DP.. This project can work well, if you are able to get users :) You'll need to build a trust for it though.

    I would say be more specialize is more better coz it will make it more success.
    Ideally you should not mixed buy and sell with other thing such as webmaster coz it will become unprofessional.
