worthy it or not

    I found it is very difficult to get good pr or good position for directory site, is it worthy it or not to build such sites now?

    it is very possible to get a good pr with a directory site and to rank well in the serps

    I have hardly found any link directories with having some considerable amount of content.

    I would put this as the factor of being difficult to improve the PageRank for the directories.

    There could be so much to write in directories, and to make them powerful, apart from the fact that a directory with some information would have more visitors and hence popularity.
