Hi all, I have a question I am trying to solve and I am not finding it out there or at least easily available. I have set up my site to be home> category (primary keyword) > blog post (alternative keywords related to primary keyword) What I have done is put many links to my category pages. Which this in turn has boosted the home page rank. What I am wondering is after MANY links to my primary keywords(category pages) I am not ranking on the keywords or showing up at all in the top 1000 websites. If I am to try and rank on these primary keywords is it better to do in a blog post in the category and put all links there? Or eventually over time will my category page show up in the rankings. The site has not been penalized or anything like that. Any insight is most appreciated. Cheers~ Jimmy
no its not problem but don't use same keywords in category page make page like separate like in SEO services page only SEO services keywords, URL and make mata tags. if your keyword is off pages SEO so make same as SEO services page so you can target individual page wise target keywords and category so you can get good ranking and traffics also.
I also read somewhere that if I am putting links to a category page they are still diluted through all the posts, could this be the reason my category page is not ranking?
