Sorry to have my first post be a question. I understand if no one wants to answer... here goes anyway. I noticed on a blog that somebody who used e-junkie experienced a very modest bump in sales when he allowed affiliates to market his project. E.g., he bumped sales by 13%... which happened to be $10-$15 bucks... Anybody aware of what sort of increase or activity you see if you become a CJ advertiser, etc.. My meeting with the CJ rep is 2pm this afternoon....
It all depends on how you promote your programs. If you support your affiliates, have good landing pages, and work with search/coupon publishers (make sure you have a flexible search marketing policy & some sort of coupon available for coupon site publishers), you can do pretty well - but don't expect the program to run itself.
Thank you tvmatt. Interestingly, I had a really nice conversation with a CJ sales rep named Erica. And she said the same thing... basically, you need to work to make the affiliation work for the publishers. FYI, and I'm sure people here all know this, there are all sorts of people at small potatoes sites like payloadz.com and e-junkie.com that use those sites for fullfillment (because that's what concerns these people). And these sites also offer affiliate programs... Probably not worth it for you guys to play in these smaller arenas, but thought I'd mention... Again, thanks tvmatt.
