I own the following domain names:
    lbuys.com
    rbuys.com
    fbuys.com
    gvalue.com
    stocksfutures.com
    therealpropertyagent.com
    wbrowsers.com
    coalheating.com

Is there any real chance of getting any one of these sold for EUR100+

    Thanks,
    Garrooney

The pros will probably give you better feedback.

However, as a web user if I saw someone with the first bunch I'd think they were junk urls and they'd been too late to get the decent ones. I wouldn't pay for the url, but I might for the business. I'd let them expire. If you don't have plans for them drop them.

coalheating.com might have legs, try selling that one.

I agree that coalheating.com is the best of the bunch, but I don't think that you'll find anyone willing to spend 100 Euros on it.

I agree they are all reg fee. CoalHeating.com would have value if it was 100 years ago but I doubt enough people heat with coal or are considering a switch from oil/natural gas to warrant any interest.

I agree at the moment that CoalHeating.com is nothing pretty to look at but I totally disagree with the CoalHeating.com domain being past interest ("100 years" or so) as I know for a fact being a engineer and reading reports that oil prices will continally increase until everyone will be forced to switch from heating their homes with gas/oil to other alternatives. Don't believe me, read below. I found this in a Google search under the keywords "oil alternatives":

When they say "alternatives", they aren't talking about coal ;)

    From your own quoted article:

This was the last line for coal as an alternative: But it seems highly unlikely that coal will ever recover its once-dominant position.

With the pollution caused by coal, I can't see itever happening.

The Australians have created a method of burning coal with the aid of ultrasonic vibration that lowers the CO2 emissions to well below safety limits. It releases more energy also but I can't see this being used in a home environment but definitely in industry.

If anybody gets the time they could read Matt Savinar's book on the subject. It will back up my coal oil rambling.

You may want to read your own "source". Page 39 (Question 31)

Yes, I know what it says. My first posting said when oil becomes too expensive it will become a realistic alternative. Right now it hasn't come to that but it will. People won't give a flying farkle about emissions or weight when they are freezing to death.

Except that the price of coal is directly tied to oil (as stated in your article you linked to)

When oil gets too expensive, coal will cost even more!

I'd be happy to sell the lot and fetch 50 quid. I don't think they'll make 100 Euros cumulatively, if there's no sites attached to them.

I think the dispute posted about Coal is the best reason to hang on to the domain. It may be worth 50 - 100 now, but wait a few years (maybe even months) for the energy problem/panick to get even worse and it will be worth even more.

If anyone genuinely believes that coalheating.com is/will be worth in excess of 100 Euros - then why not register the other TLDs? Surely they would be worth more than registration costs?

I don't think any are worth more than reg fee, but perhaps stocksfutures.com may be worth $50-100...
