Worst web hosting company -Yahoo!

Hostagator is a pretty godd web-hosting co. but on the other hand bluehost is good too, my friend uses bluehost!

 

well...if you find Yahoo webhosting inexistant i suggest you tri Hostgator
as ceylonking said before, it isn't expensive and they really support you
i'm sorry for you that you have to put up with all that trouble...

 

I was with them for a little while, never again will I ever do business with Yahoo in any way.

 

how is that? one of the most profitable companies in the world and they don't even reply to an email or have a phone number? The little mlm company I am involved in answers all it's calls promptly and effeciency

 

Yahoo is not a hosting company. Try some other you will find some good one.

 

Yahoo and godaddy sucks not only that but they steal web design work from actual designers if anyone is dumb enough to get their clients to host with them. Host gator stays in the backgroun dif you get a reseller account you can offer quality to your client and keep your own clients.

 

I also was there customer.

But they fucked me when I got bandwidth issues.

In my yahoo hosting account there was only one text file which was of some bytes.

After 2 days 25 GB exceded.

Don't know why.

I guess their meters was out of order.

Still their support sucks.

 

Yeah! I should stop this.........
Now I know Yahoo! is the worst, but I want to know how worst they are....

I am planning to move to Hostgator in July, thanks for all your suggestions...

No change in them and no change in me expecting miracles to be happen one fine morning....

Till date no reply and no call lifting activity....

Really I want to see how many days they want to take...

Any guess, in which year I may get reply from Yahoo?

i don't think so that yahoo is worst web hosting.

 

for small business its ok, otherwise use the vps or dedicated servers.

 

Glad I found this thread...I was ready to sign up with Yahoo today. Forget that! Thanks to everyone who shared their experiences.

 

I use 1and1, it's not that bad... It's very cheap.

And although there is a lot of security, your site can still get hacked pretty easily, and the stupid 1and1 team will ignore you and claim it was your script, when it is obvious the hacker gained access through FTP brute forcing.

But then again a lot of hosting companies are like that. They have 0 knowledge of cyber security, and they are all run by idiots who cut off your service if you get like the digg-effect, or they will think your script is the problem and that their systems are secure just because your website was targeted.

 

I use Bluehost and hostsvault.com I have found that they are very good and reliable. I have not experienced any problems with them so far.

 

I would never recommend being hosted at Yahoo they are not made for hosting.

 

Yahoo its really expensive i used bluehost its good.
