    My vote goes to www.bestseachengine.com.

No, that's not a typo... that's really the domain name. A whois shows:

    It gets better:

The URL takes you to a prominent Google search box with 29 categories listed below it and a mis-linked graphic.

he he. I just saw this one
    http://www.authorized-amsoil-dealer-for-synthetic-motor-oil.com

I wanted to get hyphenated-domains.com and setup a joke domain registrar site but when I went to register it .. it was already taken! :D

Just to address the earlier complaint about me posting that url. (I figured it would get a visit since it probably lit their logs up) My point was merely a comment on the choice of domain, not the site.

    For instance Someone posting
    www.newyorkcityweddingsandpromsforyourspecialevent.com
    Code (markup):
is not saying New York City sucks (or doesnt exist) or that weddings suck but instead commenting on the readability or usefullness of the actual url.

I apoligize if you were offended but I stand by my post. Enjoy the free backlink and welcome to DP forums.

By the way the "bestseachengine" domain cracks me up!

I keep laughing with every new post..I particularly like the ones that become obscene when the spaces are removed like Pen Island. Thats Classic.

By the way Weirfire, I've actually got negatives for starting this thread. Screw them its worth it! Its really funny.

You can read more about domain abuse here:

    http://domains.dan.info/hall/shame.html

Did you know www.x.com is PayPal's?

    And try this:

    http://www.wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.com/

    "That is 'double u double u double u dot... double u double u double u double u double u double u double u double u double u double u double u double u double u double u double u double u double u double u double u double u double u double u double u double u double u double u double u double u double u double u dot com."

I started reading that guys site but its a bit picky for my taste. His problem doesn't seem to be with extraordinarily long or bad combinations but instead he keeps going over the same gripe of not-for-profit organizations having a .com....Over and Over and Over
