According to new channel USA has to bear a loss of around $1000 cr dollars due to Irine Hurricane. Many things has been destroyed to this and still the danger is not moved it has been slowed down boats are roaming in the city of New York... I think this is the last of time USA as said in 2012 world will no longer will survive.
It is a strong hurricane no doubt, but it only affects a small part of USA, too pessimistic to talk that the survival of the USA is in question.
Uhh mate, put down that crack pipe, it's not doing you any good. Certainly it's a tough time for yanks, but they aint even down, let alone out. (they will be down if Obama wins the next elections, though)...
@Wisdomtool I don't know man i have friends on the east cost and although there was some flooding there was nothing serious . The only thing that was moderately damaged was the power infrastructure but most people had backups and the damages have been fixed . Also it was only category I hurricane .
Actually, it was very worrisome. I'm glad that it wasn't even worse than the level it was. At this point, the published death toll is about 40.
We must just be positive. Having a calamity like this one has been common for years. Let us not jump into conclusion about the rumors of 2012 end of the world. It is too far from reality... I personally don't believe in it.
I'm not from the U.S.A. but I've been all over the states and lived in Los Angeles for over a year. You have no idea how gigantic the American economy is.Do you realize that the GNP for the U.S. is bigger than that of the European Union? New York dodged a bullet, really only North Carolina,New Jersey,Vermont, and Connecticut were affected. That is only 4 states out of 50. Look at how Germany was devastated after WWII,the same for Japan. They came out of it and so will the U.S.
I'm sure that this hurricane is not so impressive in history of disasters and may be the reason of its pessimistic consequences is that it was near NY. But life goes on and there is no reason to be sad of it.
