My worst job was the first one I had when I was 16 years old. I worked at Popeyes Chicken and Biscuits. The only good thing about this job is that they let us eat free food, but the boss eventually stopped that, and wanted us to throw food away. We didn't, and continued to take food home after we got off work. The grease burned the mess out of me. Trying to filter the stoves was a nightmare. However, it was my first job, and It was the first time I started putting money in my pocket.
That's nothing compared to Chinese Food and Donuts... right down the street from my house. Who buys their chinese food the same place they buy their breakfast goodies?!
Are donuts breakfast goodies? I usually buy them around midnight. Of course, my schedule would scare a vampire so that may mean nothing.
The worst job I've have had was sitting at a desk for 14 hours a day for 5 days a week. Not fun at all.
Hahaha... sick... but also very amusing... did you capture any of this on video tape? "Geriatric Park"
Working in a food factory. Has to stand still for like 8 hours while cakes went past on a conveyor, dipping my latex gloved hand in some goo in a bowl beside me and wiping the tops of the cakes with it as they went past. 8 hours a day doing the same thing. Walked out in the 2nd week.
Age 20 or so, security guard for a concrete slab. First stage of construction in the suburbs of Ventura, California, which at the time was itself not much more than a sleepy seaside town (still, for the most part, is). Job? Walk the perimeter of this concrete slab for 8 hours, graveyard shift. They ensured you didn't fall asleep by requiring you to key in checkpoints every 15 minutes - a metal plate with a time stamp that recorded your night walk. Nothing else around - the middle of a field, and a concrete slab. Yeah!!
I was in the army ;-) My currenrt job is splitting rocks and mining rocks Still a crap job-always a crap job
So you went to the Thames Valley University and ended up in the army and then splitting rocks. Wow, just goes to show the UK education system sucks.
