Worst EVER case of smartpricing

Dam, here's what I got at the momemnt.


AdSense for content top channels 200K Impressions 8000 clicks $400 earnings.



Note: All details rounded about so I don't give exact earnings and get banned from adsense.

Wow, that is so low, only 0.05$ per click...
That was my case in past week. Yesterday and today things are going better

 

Not much per click but still its $400

Maybe next month will be better.

No it's not. We do not know what market this is in. In some markets I pay 1c for content network clicks.

 

Yup. .05-cents/click is standard smartpricing when all is said and done. Sorry, mate, happens to all of us, alas.

 

It's not a matter of individual clicks, it's a matter of total clicks equals total earnings. When an account gets smartpriced, regardless of niche, the average hovers around .05-cents without fail.

 

5cents a click would make me rich I get less then 2 cents a click and I pay 1 cent per click on adwords for content network.

90% of my traffic is from India but I see things improving now as more and more advertisers entering the market every day

Things could get better. Mine went down to 3/4c. The next day they were at around 8c, the next day at 11c, today it is 16c. I'm hoping it keeps going until it gets to where it was before.

Well Miles, if it'll make you feel better, I've been smartpriced as well, but I've gotten around it this way:

I've switched all my low-paying niche sites over to YPN, and kept Adsense only for the high-paying niche sites. The reason is that Adsense supplies more relevant ads, and since the sites are getting high paying ads, smartpricing doesn't hit it quite as hard. Likewise for my low-paying sites, even though YPN's ads are insanely untargeted, the price per click is still relatively high, so I make up for the much less # of clicks with higher price per click.

Don't know if YPN is available to you. If not, try to use this system with another Adsense alternative, such as Adbrite, etc.

8000 clicks $400 earnings is not a bad deal..

It is good that ur getting so many clicks but if you can work out a bit on your content you can convert those clicks for big $$..
