    Anyone here to praise botw?

    What they did.
I said that I want to submit to a pr 6 page, and asked if it would be accepted. They showed me pr5 page where it would suit best.
    I paid $100.
They placed the link in a page which is NOT EVEN INDEXED.

What is this, if not a scam.

Yes, but this offense has to be announced. I asked twice, and they showed me
the real estate page, but then placed the link on a page which is not indexed and has ZERO indexed BACKLINKS, 7 pages deep, and not under real estate category.

I think contacting them should resolve it. Indeed not good, maybe the wrong person or a different person actually processed the sale.

Except you will lose 99% of the time..Paypal doesn't care about PR. as long as you were listed it will be considerded "delivered"

If the seller decides to show the link as proof, Paypal will accept it and deny the claim.

I have had something similar happen...Paypals dispute system works best with tangible products unfortunately. .. No harm in trying though as it may be an honest mistake.

I filed a complaint with paypal and there is a firm basis for my complaint; but hopefully it will be resolved without it, and I will drop the claim and withdraw my comments.

I have seen you on many forums and IMO it's people like you who are getting directories banned. Directories exist for the purpose of providing an extra source for web surfers. Hand edited sites. You only seem to use them to manipulate search engines. BOTW is highly trusted and respected because they don't play your game. They have been around since 1994, so they must be doing something right. I also know that every directory that you submit to, you submit with spammy titles and descriptions.

It doesn't matter if they page is indexed or not, because every new page of theirs gets indexed quickly and then benefits rankings and provides traffic to the visitors.

If I were you, I would re-evaluate my own business ethics before coming in here and slandering a quality directory before some of us reveal a few more of your business practices that we have been quite about.

I hate to be contrarian, but you're paying for a listing in a directory and not PR. The PR of a directory is going to be constantly changing, and often directories will move listings and categories around over time. With the way Google is acting, some pages of a directory are going to be de-indexed and re-indexed.

Also, $100 is dirt cheap for a lifetime link. Even the cheapest links go for around $10 per month.

Dispute resolved and complaints withdrawn. BTW comments posted here are quite funny. I am not submitting for pr, I am submitting for value. Otherwise I would advertise on pr 8 sites and not bother with pr 5s.
Buy sell pr don't worry about what G may think about you :p

I'm afraid to pay for a listing in the top few paid directories since they all seem to be taking big PR hits lately :/
