a little turdlet that i picked up the other day: n339.asp-cc.com it's a doubleclick ad server, and it was swamping my sites with low-rent crap ads that had legitimate-appearing urls at the bottom of every ad block. basically it was regional ads for widgets, that were of course not geo-targeted at all... in one ad block, there would be multiple widget retailers from states all over the country, all of which were selling the exact same thing... and my sites don't have anything to do with new widgets in the first place. thank you adsense for more of your lousy ad targeting, and for your ongoing policy of hiding the source urls for your ads. after losing money for several days on those bogus ads, i was finally able to figure out the true url source by using http://www.labnol.org/google-adsense-sandbox/ because it still sometimes shows the url at the bottom of the page, when you hover over the adsense ad. here you can see a partial list of the crap ads that this ad server is handling... none of the ads that i was getting are in this list, so it's far from complete: http://www.altavista.com/web/results?itag=ody&q=n339.asp-cc.com&kgs=0&kls=0
