Mine was weird. This campaign I have the last three weeks I don't make any sales on Friday (actually weekdays so I pause it). But I decided to re-start it on Friday to get a headstart on the weekend traffic. I made $120 or so in sales, which I was shocked by! All my sales come on weekend recently. Don't know why. Usually I'll do at least $100 on a Saturday or Sunday. Today, I did ZERO. So weird.
I don't make anything and I'm sending them over 5k hits per month. I have my own affiliate tracker setup and I sent them an email asking them how my affiliate tracker shows I'm sending them 3-5k uniques and only 40-50 hops show in the data base.? They keep responding with "show me your links so I can see if your hop links are ok". well they are but I have one question and maybe someone else can help me. Most of the sites you promote on CB with your hop link shows your hoplink and tracking ID as soon as you hit the site's main page, my question is, the sites that re-direct or that don't show your hoplink url are those sites tracking your users/sales? Should I stay away from promoting these types of sites that play the redirect game? or that use link cloakers?
Same here. I am glad to see that others are experiencing the same thing. My sales dropped this week about 70%. It is weird!!!!
My main product sell has created his own affiliate program so I don't really have much to do with CB anymore, I still make 1-3 sales a day though from other products I promoted so I'm pretty happy. Low sales can be attributed to many factors like holidays, economy, demand for the product, competition and loss of rankings, so be sure to check out those areas first before alluding to the faulty CB tracking system.
Just goes to show how unreliable Clickbank really are - this has been my best week since January. Although I remember other weeks where I did really poorly and other people were doing well
the redirect is actually what any good publisher should be doing, as the hoplink can often put people off ... the way to check is to go right through to the purchase page and look down the bottom to check that your clickbank id is showing where it says [affiliate] ******* my sales are actually picking up again after being pretty poor since mid-feb ... i definitely don't convert the same as i used to, but i've managed to get more traffic and more hops ... i think the fact of the matter is you can't rely on what worked last week to keep working in the weeks ahead ... you have to keep working, finding new products, new niches to exploit etc
Strange, March has been my best month for all affiliate sales. Not just clickbank but everything. Its the best in the last year. Whats weird is i had been declining every month for the last year it seemed and then bam, ive had a outstanding month. Anyone else have a great March?
Clickbank just introduced a new addition to their terms of service which may be affecting the sales for those of you using Clickbank.
March is turning out to be my best month ever too. It's weird, the first three weeks have been exceptionally good for me and clickbank, which is definitely out of the norm. For awhile, I thought that maybe they got their shit together and everything was working like it's supposed to. That is until the past few days with zero sales My non clickbank stuff is also doing better than normal this month. Maybe it's a bad omen, and it'll all go downhill from here, but i'll take it while i can get it. I realize that I'm statistically insignificant so in the grand scheme of things, I've probably just been lucky.
I hear usually this time of year is good because of tax refunds. Plus we also have that "tax cut" of 13 dollars a week that started lol. Not much, but it appears to have a psychological effect I guess on some. I think it won't be this good during late summer when everyone is vacationing, gas prices are high, etc. Thats what happened last year, consumer spending started diving in July.
was doing good until three days ago, then nothing from over 400 hops, normally converts 1:70 across a number of different niches. Is it time to switch accounts again, seemed to work last time! So glad I don't rely on this for a regular income!
My sales have also been down and I use paypal for a lot of products. Here's hoping to a better April ahead.
As soon as I thought sales were off, they picked up again. So I think things are just volatile and when you get a few low days you naturally think something is wrong. Just look how volatile my earnings are (rebased with top earning day marked with an index of 100, NOT a dollar amount):
