I run a relatively small PHP coding website (though it subhosts at least 10 more popular sites which are not commercial). We've been around for 4 years now, but i've never really put loads of time or effort into it due to other commitments. Anyway i recently did a huge overhaul and i'm making about $50 a week in script sales...i digress. Earlier today i wrote a php script that displays my current daily adsense earnings to my visitors in an attempt to try and encourage them to click the ads more...well it worked...i also decided to put adsense back on after a few months.. Well within an hour my report looked a bit like this: And obviously i think this looks a bit dodgy though the clicks are really legitimate right? Can anyone advise? Obviously at this rate i'd like to keep this running, but not if it violates t&c. I've seen an adsense RSS script that uses curl but not much else. Dan (can't post the link to my site yet, but i'm going to be active on these excellent forums i assure you)
The earnings aren't going to raise a flag because they are still low, but it's against the TOS to share your exact revenue figures (at least it used to be)
1) You cannot encourage visitors to click your ads. You are cheating advertisers out of their money. Thanks. 2) You are not allowed to post your CTR% or that image in your post.
You must read google adsense TOS at once! One, you can not divulge your ctr, your earnings, etc For sure, you can not post a screen shot like you did. Secondly, you can not encourage your visitors to click adsense ads. You post that url, and someone will surely report you to google.
hmm taken heed, cheers. Alot of sites seem to encourage clicks, though i can see the point yeah. Best just spend some time on my site like everyone else then eh
PSSSSSSSST. Google has trolls on DP. Edit your entire thread to delete your URL or you're gonna get an email very soon from them.
