Hello, i'm currently in the process of designing my website, i've kept the layout fairly reduced with tables and css control over those tables. I did however want a decent header, therefore i have used photopaint by coral and laced a few images together.

Now i'm concerned it does not load quick enough and may put visitors off. Is there anything i can do with the image, keeping all the details that might speed up the process.

Check my signature if you like, please provide honest reaction to loading time.

    Thank you

I've heard that png files are better than jpg for loading, any comments on helping me out would be great.

Looks fine to me, the file size isn't *THAT* big--according to Firebug I loaded the page and assets in 1.5 seconds, the header took 377 ms (1/3 a sec).

Thank you for getting back so quickly to me, its nice to be reassured, i was just thinking for those people with crawling browsers that are still to join the fibreoptic world.

    Thanks again.

I was just worried, as went to other sites that look way more graphic orientated than mine, and yet seemed to load with rapid results. Mine was staggering just slightly, with the header last to follow.

    Thank you
