got a campaign report today from 3rd party company hosting a google adword campagn for me, it listing multiple hits to my adwords (see below) so I checked out the I.P address on 'whois' as thought it was malicious and 'whois' says its a USA google i.p address. This is a bit of a worry, as i got charged for these hits. is there a logical explaination please anyone ? was very happy with adwords till today

If it's a Google IP, it's probably the bot visiting your site for indexing or if you run an Adwords campaign, for quality score calculations. I think if you run a content campaign that clicks will show as a Google IP, although I'm not 100% sure on this.

Google is just helping you waste your money faster, that's all. When nobody clicks on your ads, Google does. :) What company do you use to check this? I would love to see if Google bots also click my ads and charge me for it.
