Hello, We have recently set up our AdWords Campaign. We have a set budget per day that we are very mindful of. We are worried that a certain competitor will just click our ads as they see them and deplete our budget, therefore making our campaign all but useless. He is the type to have his employees just click our ad anytime they see it and bounce right off. Is there anything we can do to help with such an issue? Cheers, -Dave
I would not worry about this. Google has measures in place to identify these type of strategies and discount them.
You can actually see the amount of invalid clicks Google is catching by going to your Campaign tab and then clicking on Columns and selecting Invalid Clicks. The number of clicks will probably be shocking...In my case it was about 7% invalid clicks.
Hello, Thanks to all that have replied. I guess I am a bit spooked at the thought. Many thanks! -Dave
