Hi... I had just got scammed... I bought traffic from this website that looked alright to me... i paid them 34$ for 8,000 targeted US visitors, so far they are sending me 50-100 visits a day, the problem is that all the visits have a 100% bounce rate

So i started reading, something i should have done before i gues, and most ppl say its like a bot that comes into my site...

Anyway, thats the site: www needhits net

Know not to deal with them !!

Edit your message and remove the link to their site (add a space to it somewhere) so you don't give them any of DP's link juice.

I am sorry for you, but if you try to get 8000 visitors by Adwords at 10 cents a click, it will cost you USD 800. Obviously for USD 34 you can get only 8000 sham visitors.

    Yep, exactly.

It's not the quantity of traffic, but quality.

But there is a difference between non-targeted (ie bad quality) traffic...and bots.

Don't purchase any traffic this way. I have known since I started advertising online that this traffic is useless. There is not many ways of getting quick traffic.

Sites that send 8000 or so visitors for $20 is very good if you want a 100% bounce rate, loose all of your ad providers on your website, etc.

These sites will only damage your business in a big way. If you had CPM ads or Adsense ads on your site, you should be lucky that you have not lost your account yet.

    Be careful and good luck.

Why do people buy traffic like that? Seriously, what do you expect?

If the traffic had any value the company would be monetizing it themselves and not selling it for pennies.

They aren't really scamming you - you just bought a low quality product.

That's what I mean, and that's why I think he is scammed (if they were (partially) bots) as you at least can expect real humans to visit your site.

Yeah, any site that appears to be "giving" you traffic for next to nothing is going to be a scam. You can actually buy the software that they use for $97 online. It's loaded with proxies and hits the domain(s) you specify periodically throughout the day based upon the criteria you specify. It's amazing how many scammers there are online.

Most of these are just autosurf-style traffic that sees your page for 5 seconds and leaves (And by sees, I mean has minimized in another browser window while they do other things.)

edit: By the way, I scanned the thread title (WORNING) and thought it said "WORKING - Beware from this traffic company"... I was confused for a little bit :)

I've lost almost $150 dollars several years ago because of buying traffic, never do that again. Everybody here is right, stick to search engines or find a reputable text ad company to drive traffic to your site.

If you pull up a site to buy traffic, and see there only method of contact is e-mail. Stay away and save your money!

I agree with priyakochin , buying traffic from sites is a complete waste of time..

Pop ups / unders etc etc .. Who cares how they see your site.. They wont care about it anyway

    In June, I wrote this:

Review: 10 000 visitors to your site for only $9.95!

It's funny that I see this thread today. I was having around "25 visitors /day" but a few days ago, I got much much more all of a sudden.

I just login and have 9500 of the 10,000. Much of it won't be seen by Analytics, of course.

Using the Live plugin(WordPress), I decided to check the source behind the referral and it was from real sites. It's not bots but mostly pop under. 10% is from traffic exchange.

I only paid $10 for untargeted traffic or 0.01 per traffic exchange . ;)

At least, by writing about this, I will warned others like you just did.
