Worlds worst hosting company

I wish to share my experience with the worlds worst hosting company, I have a forum and as you know its not easy to get one started, anyway every weekend my site goes down, every weekend I contact support and I get the same excuse "server overload" few hours later it comes back online.

So have reached my limit and found a new host, I signed up on Saturday last week. On Sunday my current host went down again this time for 4 days due to a DDO attack, well thats the excuse they gave me. I submitted a ticket to inform them that I want to cancel for obvious reasons. I got an email from my old host that they will release my domain name after seven day incase i want to change my mind, WTF.

So my site is down and they want to give me seven days to think about it are they insane?

I have kept all the transcript between me and them you can clearly see questions being ignored.

I was with this company for six months in that peroid I contacted support more than 15 times because my site was down.

Today my site came online for three hours and now its off again.

That is the number one reason you do not "shit where you eat." Never have your domain name registered in the same place you have hosting. It always spells disaster.

There are many reliable hosts that do not play such games. Stay away from cheap and ask for advice from many people prior to buying next time. Be sure you purchase what you need and not just go for cheap. Allow for room to grow so you do not max out your bandwidth or space.

We all want a deal but cheap or free is almost always a bad idea unless the rep of the hosting company is beyond reproach.

I have just signed up with hostmonster, I posted a question here asking what host I should use, my current one was the same price I did not go for a cheap host once I have transferd everything I will post their name and some of the live chat that I had with them, I fear If i do it now they might see it and play games with me.

I think bluehost should be cheap and reliable. Haven't have any major issue so far with them.

Never go with cheap hosts, or overselling (unlimited) web hosts.

there are alot of webhosting out there and some promiss alot but never shows it. Ive used alot of hosting and the best so far by experience is bluehost they are very reliable and friendly. ive heared godaddy isnt such a good host but it surely is a great domain seller. Always before choosing a hosting try reading reviews so you wont end up in a bad host!

OK so i'm stuck with my current host until Monday because of their stupid policy, in the mean time my site was down most of the day so I contacted live chat asking once again whats going on, with the first honest reply i got from them " we have no clue sorry" and " we are not going to lie to you by telling you it will work in a few hours" holy crap I actualy liked them for a second for being so honest, I kept a copy of the chat which I will share with you later.

I see many comments about buying cheap host and I agree but for me I didn't buy a cheap host but still got problems, I firmly believe I just got bad luck got stuck on a crappy machine other wise these guys would be out of business a long time ago, mind you after a month I signed up I start reading reviews about them, there was over 30 post in one review 27 very not positive the other 3 was from themself posting super long post in order to push the whole thread down, mmmmmmmmm, wish I had read that before I bought their plan.

I'm so green when it comes to all of this, I only started 6 months ago but the smartest thing I did do was join this forum if it was not for reading post here I probably would have never have backup my site every month.

Is it ipower? I had a horrible experience with them. GD Indian tech support was worthless and would go round and round in circles with them on a vps plan I had. I had to basically tell them what to do to fix some of the things that were wrong, they had no idea what I was even talking about half of the time, then to find out I had a cap of 70,000 total files on the plan, maxed that out in about 3 months. What a joke.

I pay half what I paid them with my current host, get 4 times the memory, 10 times the disk space, and a file cap in the billions.

I would not recommend HostMonster, the most downtime i have ever experienced. My site is always lagging and comes up as 503 error all the time. Their customer support is easy to get a hold of, but they just give you some BS canned response without actually looking into it. The problem with HostMonster is that they have unlimited bandwidth, and basically they are overselling. They would never admit this, and since its unlimited and there is no cap on the bandwidth, expect your site to be really slow at times.

At last and just in time too my site is moved, I still have one site hosted by 3IX.com and you guest it, it was down again, but at least my other site and forum have been moved.

My site was down every week I kid you not, every time I got the same answer "server over load" from live chat.

I loved 3IX.com auto response the only thing that was different was the name of the operator which was always female and there was a hundred of them, geez it must be a very big company, NOT.
