Yeah, I read this today morning, it syas India is one of the least friendly countries... You know why? 'cps the foriegners don't know how to stay for a week without insulting the locals.....including me..
Srikanth its not like that !! Our Law and order in India is a big shit !! Specially our Political Leaders, Thats the only reason India have a bad reputation ... have u ever been to Himachal, Agra, Rishikesh .. etc ? Believe me its terrible to survive thr as an Indian Tourist ... you can imagine how much a foreign tourist suffer !!
UAE's the most difficult country for expats? Hmmm, i have several friends there. I wonder if their lives are living hell there. LOL.
Israel is friendly, the wars and the battles that taking place here right now doesn't really affect the charm of Israel and the friendly.. You have to come here in order to understand this thing.. it's great!
How long until someone suggests their own country, with no proof? Even though it totally isn't friendly? I say by the end of page 2
I have been to all the places, it is NOT us who are completely at fault.... When I was waiting for the Netravati Express at Erunakulam Jn, a couple of Foreigners insulted Keral to a local who got angry and then yelled abuses at them....
If you want tourists, you have to put up with some of the shit they bring. When I worked in a hotel, people always thought I wasn't Scottish because I wasn't wearing a kilt . Tourism generates huge revenues. Either put up with some crap from them, or forget about tourism.
Yeah i read the article today, and i would definitely have to say its Japan! Met some nice folks there very friendly.
I AM Canadian And yeah, Canadians tend to be more laid back and friendly. I worked in the Hotel/Resort industry in my late teens to late 20's. Most tourists to Canada always rave about how friendly we are. No offense meant, but the majority of American tourist bus type tours were something to endure, not welcome. And Japanese tours.. gah! They *never* tipped. Neither do Americans. But that's another story. My favorite kind of traveller/tourist is always the European. Kinder, open minded, more patient, friendlier and always raved about the beauty of Canada.
Barring these rare cases which few have mentioned..It might be their personal bad experiences, I will rather say it like this only... means 'Guest is like GOD'... The very essence of the quote flows in our culture, just you have to discover & explore it here.. I am sure you will cherish the experience as never before... India might have a Bad Image but Image always does not always reveal the real truth hidden behind the curtains!!!!!
I've also met a lot of friendly folks in Japan, but they all approached me and/or had me stay in their house. Japan is also extremely racist. Still, I love Japan 8D
