8 Foot? Ouch, that's impressive. Just run in my mind:

    Where does he buys clothes?
    How tall is her wife?
    Where does he buys shoes?
What he does for a living?

    :D:D:D:D

According to the Guinness Book of World Records...

Tallest living man is Leinod Stadnyk of Ukraine - 8 feet, 5.5 inches. I've seen him on tv a few times. No pic from Guinness available, but he's easy to find pics of - he's been on every tv network.

Edit: Pic found, thank you Google!

Tallest man on record ever recorded was Robert Wadlow, 8 feet, 11 inches tall (pic below). Details: http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/records/human_body/extreme_bodies/tallest_man.aspx

Yea, and your life expectancy is way lower when you're that tall. (More for your body's metabolism to maintain)

Wow.. I'd probably only reach his waist. I feel sorry for him though, it must be hard having to deal with people staring at you.
