Harder said than done, making this thread that informational. But I do play and enjoy it. I used to pay to play but it got expensive for just a few hours of gameplay each month. I finally found a private server (free WoW server to play on) that actually had enough people to make the game just like Blizzard's. It is not my server but if anyone wants to play with me in-game there are instructions for playing world of warcraft free here.
Haha, I actually just started playing WoW a few days ago, on a trial account. I love MMO's, but I've delved into the time-monopolizing-abyss that is WoW until now. I'm level 10, and a complete n00b. I have friends that have been wanting me to play with them, but I want to get a better feel for the game first. At least I know how to fish.
