I noticed something going on with the whole world cups since 1962.

Soccer is related to politics, let me tell you why.

Who won the World Cup in:

    - 1962's america
    - 1966's europe
    - 1970's america
    - 1974's europe
    - 1978's america
    - 1982's europe
    - 1986's america
    - 1990's europe
    - 1994's america
    - 1998's europe
    - 2002's america
    - 2006's europe

In World Cup 2006, why Maradona didn't watch the mach Argentina vs Germany? because he knew they will loose.
In World Cup 2006, why Pele didn't watch the mach Brazil vs France? because he knew they will loose.

The coach of Argentina gave the mach to Germany, Saviola and Messi were out, he substituted Riquelme for Cambiasso and Crespo for Cruz who didn't play any game, and after 30 mins of the game he resigned.

I think what he means is (and I could be wrong) that it's political in the sense that they take turns winning. Or something to that affect. /shrug

Yes, football is no more a game, it's just money and interests.

Today, we all know what happened 8 years ago at the WC final, Brazil vs. France.
Ronaldo was very ill, three hours before the final he was transported to the hospital, but we have all seen him on the field. Why? Because the sponsors made the team, not the trainer. They said who will play, and Ronaldo had to play even he could almost not walk. They all knew that France needs to win, Brazil had nothing to do.

This year we've seen also many cheats. Germany, the home team is not that good to play in the semi finals. Their game agains Argentina was not a game.
Then the second match, Brazil vs. France ... again, that game was aslo played long time ago behind the scenes with plenty of money. Have you ever seen Brazil playing like that? No shot on goal within 90 mins? Have you ever seen a game where they do not laugh? It was only a game to let Zidane leave glorious.
France will win over Portugal, Germany will beat Italy, but my main question is...who will pay more to win the final??

I hope I'm not starting a war now, but all this were to evident. Everyone could see what happend. And even if we don't know it now, we'll know it later.

I think that's a pretty unlikely conspiracy theory. There are always strage and suspect refereeing decisions at workd cups, but I think paying to win the final is being a bit too paranoid :)

Boby maybe in group play throwing a game for some money ya. But when your world cup title is on the line? The closest thing to aconspiricy theory I can think of is refferes payed to make a team win.
