we are aware of the fact that there exist anti-discrimination laws in the workplace. however, there are still employees that go through humiliation and discrimination from their employees. wat actions must they take against their employers? are they eligible to financial compensation?
I beg to differ, they seem like he's started two asking questions I would have expected him to know the answer to, and the third didn't actually add anything to the discussion. He hosts his own site so that's pretty impressive. And the site doesn't actually claim to be run by lawyers so maybe he's extending his range of pseudo-legal sites?
Been mulling over this guy. His site claims to be lawyers, but no info about the partners etc so I'm assuming that's crap. Is that allowed in the USA? down here he'd be strung up for that. but maybe he should be directing his questions to http://www.courtforum.com/
He is no lawyer. I know lawyers and they don't misspell that bad nor have terrible grammar. Also any 1/2 ass laywer would be able to get the proper information he asks here from better sources. Most lawyers have laywer friends in other fields. They all go to Law school together and study different areas but they still take certain classes together. If his site claims to be run by lawyers and it's not then he is actually breaking the law right there. It is my understanding that impersonating a lawyer is against the law. At least in NY state it is. http://lawprofessors.typepad.com/whitecollarcrime_blog/2005/03/impersonating_a.html Do some google and you can find a few cases. Basically if he even gives one person advice and is claiming to be a lawyer it's jail time. I can imagine that a website could really get you screwed because technically any advice on the site can be read by each visitor. So he could be held accountable for hundreds of felonies per day. lol
