Working with Microsoft Exchange

    Ahoy,

    I'm trying to learn more about working with Microsoft Exchange data using PHP. Can anyone suggest some links for more info about this topic?

    In particular I am looking to
    • (1) Set/Remove/Edit Calendar entries.
    • (2) Read a users Contacts for name and email. The data will then be placed into a CMS.

    I have Google'd much about this topic and have only found one good source of info, http://www.troywolf.com/articles/php/exchange_webdav_examples.php. Are there more?

    I did work on one project where I had to integrate Microsoft Index Server with the phpWebSite PHP-based content management system. The Windows version of PHP has a COM extension that makes interop with Microsoft easy. If the PHP is the *nix version, I think you may have to look at other options. Hmm, let me think about this one. I have done lots of Exchange programming in the past too.

    May I ask what is the version of Exchange Server? I mentioned COM in my previous post, because it was an older version of Exchange.
