Hello all, Working with fonts.. I am very much a novice. Some advice please - I have a particular TTF font that I like and would like to use in a logo. My question is this - how do I work with the font i.e. make it thicker than just making it bolder, change the effect etc? (make it look like it's made of metal) Is there software out there for this - I do have paint.net installed. Thanks in advance of your suggestions. Try Corel Draw for amazing effects. To make the font thicker, try 0.5 pt stroke (depending on your font size), and make fill and stroke color the same.
hmmzz i agree with inskyzgraphics Look up some tutorials of the software u r using and i think photoshop is the best to make ur fonts of any type u want ! thanx Shery !
I would use illustrator to edit the font. Fonts are basically vector files so Illustrator is the editing platform of choice.
