Working with a small budget, which marketing method should I focus on?

    Hello everyone,

    I am interested in marketing my website, but I have a rather small budget to work with? The budget is equivalent to approximately $50-$100/month.

    With an advertising/marketing budget of this size, what would be my best option/options to apply the money to? Should I focus on one particular marketing method, or is this enough money to use with multiple marketing strategies?

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Chris

    Hi WebSource,
    I suggest a 2 part strategy using free methods;
    Rapid results: forum marketing - make useful comments ( at least 20/day) on say 3 - 5 forums related to your niche with a signature link back to an opt-in page to build your list.
    Long lasting results: article marketing - submit articles to the top 5-6 article directories ( again the more articles you can write, or PLR you can rewrite, the better) with links in your resource box coming back to your opt-in page. Have your email autoresponder send messages to your list ( at least weekly) with helpful information and problem solving offers of your own or affiliate offers.
    Cheers

    Content, content, content. Did I mention content?

    Article marketing can be extremely effective if used correctly.

    If you know a lot about your subject and don't mind writing, then you don't have to spend a dime. There are free blogs you can set up, comment on other peoples' blog, and as mentioned there is always forum posting and article marketing.

    5 star reply.
    I like to add a little. Use twitter to promote your products. Make above 5,000 followers, tweet interesting links, and often post your product links. Don't over tweet your products only and keep direct contact with interested people through DM. You can hope to get good conversion.

    Use PPV (CPV) advertising. Dirt cheap advertising.

    Good luck!

    I must agree with juvenescence, content is of paramount consideration. No matter how many marketing tools you use, if readers think that all the contents of your site are nothing, you will definitely just obtain their initial visit- their first and last. But if you have great contents, you might be utilizing these marketing tools only on a few instances because visitors are surely gonna stay at your site.
