WorkEstimates.com - 3 day auction

WorkEstimates.com was created to be a value-added giveaway for a larger project we put together to sell to construction contractors. We no longer need this website for that task. We put $2500 alone just into creation of the SQL database software that runs the website.

This is a very unique project. There are very few online job costing tools. We don't sell websites for a living so we honestly don't know what it is worth. I will put a BIN price up of $2000 and will look at offers. Minimum offer for the auction is $750. I'll run it until midnight EST on April 4th to see if there is interest.

Hosted on Godaddy Windows server for $6.99. Website is over 2 years old. We don't pay extra for Godaddy stats so we don't know site stats. Assume light traffic and no income.

If you are truely interested, please PM me for a username and password. The entry page is quite plain but the software really does work well.

We are not coders but can put you in touch the company which did it. They are willing to help with any code questions or changes you may have. The program was written using ASP, VBScript and Microsoft SQL Server.

This is a bidding and invoicing tool only. It is geared to the smaller contractor market such as the handyman business. However, it is completely customizable by each and every user.

Each account has the ability to create and manage all aspects of their individual categories and items. This flexibility makes WorkEstimates.com a tool which can be used by any type of business - not just construction.

You will need to change the payment page to work with your own merchant account or Paypal. You are getting website, domain name, exclusive rights to the custom programmed software.

We will transfer the domain name to your GoDaddy.com account for no charge after Paypal payment and give you access to the hosting account. You will either need to move hosting within 30 days or or we can see if GoDaddy will let us put the hosting account in your name.

Has been used as a promotional value-added give away only. The larger project associated with this website has ended, so consider there to be no existing customers. We never really tried to sell it as a self-standing product.

The finished software product that runs the estimating program was commissioned by us for use on Work Estimates.

Winning bidder gets our interest in the finished software product. Perhaps you guys are looking for ownership of the original source code, which we do not claim. The developer was able to produce the finished software product for us for $2500 because he used several existing modules he had and did not have to create everything from scratch.

Actually GoDaddy stats are free. They are included in hosting. They are not the best stats, but they'll do the job to show people your page views and unique visitors.
