Hi all I have been working as a software engineer in NYC financial sector for 5+ years and have Bachelors in Computer Information Science; love - live and breath technology... Now I want to get (preferably an IT related) job that would involve extensive travel around the world... perhaps a new destination back to back every week or month or so... I am thinking some sort of onsite hardware / software / staff training / maybe even product demonstration+sales if need be... not sure what jobs and sectors I should be targeting, where I should be searching... whom should I be contacting... particular sectors? jobs? consulting firms? particular companies? headhunters? recruiters? sites? please can anyone advise me on anything at all in regards to this... any insight is very much appreciated... Go to craigslist and visit job sections for different countries. The other day I was on the Russian page of craigslist and saw that they were looking for IT people in Russia. I am sure they are looking for IT people all over the world. Granted some of those ads might be fake, but with enough discernment you can land on a really decent job overseas.
I think there are a few companies who send their employees abroad. Maybe you can apply to one of those companies.
