The Domain name is good.

But i did not like the contest
Search for some nice logo makers in this forum and Pay him the money to do so.

Very few People would Join the contest in this way

I like the idea, and forum looks good, good threads, nice design. But of course the main thing you need to do - improve the number of links to your site - to get more visitors and, in some period of time - get some good positions in search engines and make your forum massive and popular.

how do i get people to sign up to a brand new forum?

 

If we had a contest where if you own a web related website you post a link on your website, and then type enter me in our forums, therefore being entered into a $50 drawing per month??

 

First thing that stands out to me:

Think about all the webmaster forums out there... There are tons of them, why would people go to yours.. you need content, good content, If a webmaster can't go there the learn or teach something then the site is pretty much useless... Thats what forums are for.. I don't care about what the webmaster of blahblahblah.com had for dinner last night..

Anyway, that was just my inspirational speach on content..

I ask you to ask yourself, a site deisgned for webmasters.. Who is your target audience? Webmasters you say! people who spend there days tweaking web site studying code and checking stats on the internet.. Peolpe who use computers almost all day all the time.. So my question, why is the font size like the site is made for 3rd graders?.. It's huge...

when viewed in firefox the font is normal. and webmasters shouldnt be using internet explorer anyway lol

Ok, I checked in every browser I have, As a Web Application Developer, I use them all..

IE7 (pre-beta, so it doesn't really matter)
Font is huge

FF
Not a bad size, I'd bring the forum titles and descriptions down 1 size.. but thats just me..

Netscape
Same as FF

Opera 8
Font is Huge

Opera 9 (beta)

Be carefull limiting your site to certain browsers.. A good webmaster will use as many browsers as possible.. Remember the site is not for you, it's for everyone else.. And you don't know what browser they are using..

Fonts done, logos were user submitted and i think they look great. Any other problems?
