a)Why do many people prefer using word tracker to the overture keyword search tool?

b)What advantages does wordtracker have over overture? do they give similar/same results of keyword searches?

c)Can somebody compare the two.. ?

Overture sometimes redoes terms so it is not exact term that is being searched for and does not show some terms like mp3 players they would only list term mp3 player

I'd recommend Trellian over both of them. Overture's results are extremely outdated now - last comparable results are from January 2007 which makes the data very questionable.

Trellian allows you to perform a few functions that Wordtracker does not and it's very simple to use, especially if you want to segment out search frequencies for different areas.
