Hi all, I'm searching around for a certain keyword and it's popularity in search engines. Wordtracker is giving me different data results for the same keyword than Google Adword - Keyword Tool. For eg, a couple of top 10 phrases in wordtracker are not even listed in the google tool at all! The top 3 rankings (from traffic stats) for my keyword in wordtracker have traffic stats of #6,7,8 in google...meaning the top keywords in google are listed very low on the charts of wordtracker. Then again, I used the online gui to search...would my results be any different if I bought the program?? Thanks
I have not used WordTracker yet as I am big fan of Google Adwords - Keyword tool. However I have heard similar words from a friend as well who used it for a couple of months and then stopped it.
I don't think wordtracker is accurate at all. I have been looking into certain keywords for both adwords and wordtracker. I believe google adwords search volume is more reasonable.
Well I use both Wordtracker and Google Adwords tool individually for SEO and SEM respectively. The reason being, I belive that Google adwords tool gives data based on adwords campaign(it is more specific to ads on google)..so that is more towards the SEM side. I have been using Wordtracker for SEO since I am in this field, and I have had good results from it so far...so no complaints.
All tools of the kind seem to give slightly different results. Wordtracker is pretty accurate and does OK
