WordTracker and DigitalPoint KeywordTracker. Period of time.

    Hello,

I've got a question. I use wordtracker (trial) and http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/suggestion/ tool for my keyword research. I've found out that both tools provide equal results. E.g., according to both tools, people search for the term "palm software development" 19 times.

The question is: what period of time?

    Wordtracker says:

Count shows the number of times a particular keyword has appeared in our database. E.g. Our database currently holds 350716034 words. A count of x tells us that this particular word has appeared x times in (this is over 90 days).

Nevertheless, Digitalpoint shows x (the same number) / day.

People search for "palm software development" 19 times per 90 days (according to WT), or per day (according to Digitalpoint tool)? Please, help me. I'm puzzled.

DP keyword tool is very accurate, it will show searches done on a certain day or month, here is an awesome tool to help you with your keyword research.

    http://tools.seobook.com/general/keyword/

It cheks all major search engines, it displays monthly search results.

if my memory serves me right, Wordtracker has a 24hr column and a Count column. 24hr shows the number of times a particular keyword has been searched within, well, 24hrs. Count denotes the number of times a keyword has been searched in a 90day peroid.

it's a good tool, but as per my experience some of the numbers are impossibly inaccurate.

    cheers :)

I would recommend to use KeywordDiscovery.
