Hi DP Members, Once again, seeking assistance from the fine collective 'think tank' of your active minds... I am looking to engage in the future a number of individuals for some content related requirements, specifically researchers, writers, editors and proofreaders. I have been testing the waters by engaging 'providers' on individual projects via sources such as eLance, iFreelancer, MediaBistro, SP and the like. Utilizing some 'Editorial Guidelines', proformas, and specific terms & service agreements for providers for each specific project assigned, I have found that some are able to provide better than others - the rates also vary as much as the end content quality produced. Over time I have gotten into the habit of providing editors and writers with resources such as APStylebook and Chicago Style Manual memberships Online. Mainly to assist them in writing now and in the future, i.e. the project at hand and then if they wish to utilize the resource further on other projects they are involved with - in a sense a unexpected bonus and tool. For researchers, and other individuals who may be engaged in very targeted and specific research or technical writing. I acquire memberships to the tools or resources, i.e. para-legal research resources for trademark initiatives, reports from MarketingSherpa, Domain Wizards and Government Statistical offices for content initiatives - etc. Within the next 30 days (month) I am hoping to initiate a number of 'writing / content / research' projects, and via DP am hoping to meet some folks who excel in exceptional service, can research the nose off a bunny rabbit, write better than the Queen can speak English and must have a passion and love of originality - to name a few of the requirements. BUT, more importantly is seeking to have fun, build a relationship, be recognized as a contributor and be a part of unique and original service theme to which the 'key' is quality.
