I’m struggling to make one of my newly purchased themes work. The theme in focus for this matter is Portfolium and has been purchased off themeforest. The author seems to be away and I need my issue fixed asap because of blog posts needing to be made. Any help here from the community would be greatly appreciated. First of all the timthumb script isn’t resizing any images in posts. I’m sure there’s an easy fix for this but I cannot get it to work despite having CHMODDED the cache folder to 777. The second and biggest problem is that the theme is acting up when I try to go to older posts. You can see what I mean by going to the homepage at http://keepinspiring.me and then a page that should include older dated posts at http://keepinspiring.me/page/2/ . Does anyone have any solutions to this? ANY sort of help would be appreciated.
You do get what you pay for as themeforest items are extremely cheap. The author should answer your support requests if not im not surprised. Timthumb only works locally within your server ie you canot use other images from external sources ie other sites as this wont resize. Secondly i tried to view the source and i keep getting redirected to a javascript file. So im guessing you havent closed an ending script tag . That can be just one reason. Other can be that the page.php or any other php file thats included has been either corrupted , the general wordpress loop hasnt been executed properly there infact can be millions of reasons. We cant help unless we see the code and i mean the php code . Not the html output we see in the source code.
Thanks for your fast and courteous reply Areol but I've been trying to get in touch with the author for the past day to no avail. His script is extremely weird because in order to run the website I had to create a page with a "bloglisting" template and set the front page to be on that static page. I'm extremely confused.
