I am in the process of figuring out word press for my site http://www.healthyhumanbeing.ca and am trying to make it so when the visitor goes to the site, they just see the abstract of the article not the entire article... I've enabled the "show summary" in the reading options but this does not seem to fix it. Anything I am doing wrong?
Take a look in your edit post options. In the lower portion of the page you'll have a few collapsed areas, the one you want is called 'optional excerpt'. Populate this with the summary data you want to appear on the home page, and it will take precedence over the full story (but of course you can then click thru to the full story). Cheers, JL
