Hi all, would really appreciate any help on a frustrating issue with Wordpress. I run a film site (britmovie.co.uk), and whilst the news/features (typical wp 'posts') are indexed perfectly, the database of around 3,000+ entries is steadfastly ignored by the googlebot. These are entries below films/ actors/ studios/ - it will index the A-Z listing but nothing more. I've spoke with a couple of wp seo experts but their advice is pretty much what you'd read online in a recommended settings blog about AIO, sitemaps and robots.txt (obviously I explored these some time ago). I suspect it must be more of a coding issue or the site (ie database) structure. Would others explore a different cms or maybe post it as a job for a freelancer? And advice would be appreciated as I'm stumped.
Hi, Well, Google usually skips a page because of either a "no-follow" tag on a page/post, the pages it is skipping doesn't have any words to index, or etc... Really anything could be stopping it from getting indexed. If you would like I can review the coding for you, just send me a PMS.
