Wordpress : Will Scheduled Post PING weblogs ?

    Hi ...

    Let's say, I scheduled 10-20 posts ahead.

    When it reaches the "published" time, the post will appear live. Will it automatically ping weblogs ?

    yes, as long as you did not uncheck the ping option in the write post area

    Yes, it will ping automatically when it publishes. Anyway, you shouldn't be worrying about this. You should worry about Wordpress overpinging that will get you banned by ping services.

    WP do ping even when you are just editing your post. Imagine those who take a long time to edit a published post and WP keeps on saving and pinging. :D
