Wordpress website can be submitted in blog pinging website?

Hi

I am working on a promotion of a website. The website is based in wordpress. Can i ping my wordpress website in blog websites like pingoat or pingomatic ?

If yes than will it give any boost to my website ranking ?

P.S i am very confuse please provide me your suggestions

yes you can send to ping sites.. it helps bot to easily crawl and index your site..

Yes pingomatic is what we use and a lot of other marketers as well.

 

Yes . Very well without any problem. I am also using pingomatic for wordpress theme blog.

 

In case you didn't know, if you're downloading and using the Wordpress software, and not just hosting your website at Wordpress.com, there's a section on the administrative side where you can set up certain services (like pingomatic) to be automatically notified when you update your Wordpress blog...
