Why webhosts http://wpengine.com and http://page.ly are so expensive? Are there some cool features that I missed?
I don't know why their expensive. But in reality any cheaper host can host wordpress just fine. No sense in paying out the nose for wordpress specific hosting. Chad
They target people who don't know any better...their customers won't find DigitalPoint.com until they realize they need some traffic!
Yes I agree - its just a marketing technique to make you think that they have more value than other wordpress hosts or just general web hosts. Although I am sure they have great customer support, but that does not mean you charge premium prices for the same thing.
Wow and I thought the prices I charged at eastlondonhosting(dot)com were high! To be honest you don't need to look for a specialist hosting company, as many of us now offer one-click install on scripts like Wordpress for people who wish to run them but lack the knowledge to install and set them up.
