Hey guys, Just wanted to see what the difference was between these two programs. One costs money, one does not. I know that WPD has auto content generation, but, is it really worth $40-$60+ plus per month? What is the basic difference? Can I still do a good job with just Wordpress?
Wordpress is just a free Content Management System (CMS). It is what most people use. I've never heard of Wordpress Direct and it sound like it could be a rip off. When people speak of using Wordpress, they are referencing the free version (and only real Wordpress version) most likely.
There is nothing in Wordpress direct that you cannot do in Wordpress. The only thing there is that it saves your time, and you pay a fee for that.
Wordpress and Wordpress direct does seems like two different thing altogether. Wordpress is a free Blogging script while the Wordpress Direct is a 3rd party software which auto-propagate your blog with contents from the internet. Personally, I think the standard Wordpress would do just fine. You do your own blogging so your site would have unique content rather then ripoffs from other sites.
Yes,you can just use free WP platform to write your blog. But if you don't want to waste time write the content for your blog then you should consider buying WPD. It will auto generate content to your blog.
