    Hey Guys.

I have a question for you Marketers. Is a Wordpress "blog" or a 1 page Sales Letter type of website better to use for promoting products? I have seen both, but don't know witch one is easier to drive traffic to. Also can you use hubpages to promote your website, clickbank, or offer pages?

It depends greatly on your marketing approach. Normally the wordpress blogs are set up as a "review" site or something that offers supplemental information to the original product. The sales page is where you do all of your hardselling by providing information about the product, and resolving whatever issue the visitors might have. So if you want to drive traffic to a blog make sure you give additional information about the product (soft selling) and give your experiences with the product and how it can benefit your customers. Then link to the main sales page where they can get all of their detailed information that they want.

    Hope this helps!!

Hey Thanks for the information. I really don't know what I'm doing, but I know that blogs are a great way to make a little money. I'm not sure how to build sale letter type websites. All i know is I want to start making a little extra money online. Any advise would be great.

    Thanks

Both can be used for the same purpose....

If you are into affiliate marketing a single sales page might be the route to follow.....

If you are into creating a review type site....then wordpress.....

Ultimately its going to depend on how you want to make that extra bit of money.......

    Regards

    Chris

Personally, I use both. Actually, I have a Wordpress blog with a sales page theme that I use to set up a lot of my sales and squeeze pages which works well.
