hi guys. I need to see your opinions about Wp vs. php fusion. Talk about seo, design and things like that... Thanks !
There is no comparison between wordpress and php fusion. Wordpress Kicks Ass on all the the aspects. Hands down to wordpress. IMO
seo: wordpress design:wordpress things like that: wordpress what is the magic you prefer phpfusion in registration perspective.
I never use PHP Fusion before, so can't compare it with Wordpress. But for Wordpress, with so many themes and plugins out there that can be use are mostly the people choice when it comes to CMS.
Try it out and find out for yourself, I can't say I've used php fusion. In my eyes wordpress is just bloated as hell and its becoming much more obvious.
i've used php-fusion for about 3 months and i can say that it's a search engine magnet. and also it has a nice combination of forums, news, articles features. some how give you the control you need for your own portal// but when it comes to day to day managment any blogging platform that support publishing and uploading files through API will be definitely much better than fusion. as i said, i'e tried fusion for 3 months but not anymore .. good luck
well i like php fusion a lot better. there is no branding in the code source like wp in wp they use wp-theme/ etc. in php fusion just include/
Can I through in Drupal? I think if you want a blog, use wordpress. Its easy, it has lots of themes, and works very well for a blog. If you want a user community where users have their own blogs, or want them to be able to post content, or want to be able make custom content types and display that content is flexible ways... go drupal. It got number 1 open source CMS at packt publishing (google it)
They are absolutley diffrent pacakages. PHP-Fusion main goal is Portal. WordPress - Blog. I am giving my vote for WordPress, but in some cases is PHP-Fusion better. But You need to know exacly, what you want from CMS and how its need to look.
My vote definitely goes for WordPress, it has developed into such a robust platform, with really advanced functionality. There are also tons of plugins, so in case something is not included out of the box, you can easily add it through a third-party extension. For those seriously considering the issue, I would advice though to find a good overview of both on the web, because after all we all have our own requirements to the platform. Here is an example of article comparing the two platforms
