Ok so..... I put 10x MORE effort into http://www.sayingsfunny.com than I did http://PicsFunnyPics.com and yet PicsFunnyPics.com has ranked 10 times higher than sayingsfunny.com ................. Clearly its because of the way wordpress works, but theres nothing in googles algorithm that says Hey thats a wordpress site so lets rank it higher by default! So I guess its because of the tags, and the way it interlinks so well.......... So before I consider doing it manually on SayingsFunny, can anyone recommend any software or anything that will help automate the SEO on SayingsFunny similar to the way Wordpress does? I prefer not use wordpress on sayingsfunny but if I cant find a way to do the SEO better I see no reason to keep it as it is...... Even though i think it looks way better than picsfunnypics.........
The OP is asking about his site, www.sayingsfunny.com which doesn't seems to be using wordpress. Is it possible for you to convert it to HTML structure instead and improve the on SEO? You can also just convert the site to wordpress. I am sure you can find people willing to do it at a reasonable rate at the Service forum.
I made both websites, and I can convert it to Wordpress but I was really hoping to add the same SEO benefits of my Wordpress site, but without having to use wordpress on sayingsfunny.com Where as I want to keep PicsFunnyPics.com Wordpress...
WordPress provides good search engine optimization (SEO) right out of the box. There are a few tweaks you need to make, but there are many seo benefits that WordPress provides for free. In fact Google’s own Matt Cutts says WordPress is “made to do SEO wellâ€
Right, I got that I guess what I was wondering is if there is anything out there that will Optimize your own website so that you dont have to use Wordpress but you could get similar benefits !! Nevermind though No one is understanding the question i guess.
May I ask you, why you don't want to use wordpress? While it's working well, there's no reason to avoid it. You can get the same benefit by converting the site to static html, but it'll be time consuming, when you'll want to add new content. Again, without wordpress, there are many other CMS that you can use like Joomla, Drupal.
I think there is nothing like this if you are using wordpress or not, the main importance is competition, some of the sites takes several time to index while some are not, it totally depends upon the competition & traffic.
