Wordpress Vs Forums (Please vote) !

i want to know which is better wordpress or forums

the reason of my post is in the following ways

1.want to obtain good pagerank
2.earning money
3.increase backlinks

well wordpress you can be alone, forum you can be alone too but it's kind of missing the point..

Depends if you enjoy the virtual presence of others or not.
