Blogger blogs get indexed by Google in a matter of seconds, no matter if they have any backlinks or not. That's good. Wordpress on the other hand, on your own server - is very good. I use it for some websites, and it so easy to use. It has thousands of plugins available, and the community is huge!
Blogspot is great for beginners, you don't need to pay for hosting, and customizing your theme is very easy. Wordpress, on the other hand, is great for experts as they are able to backup their blog easily (blogspot backup doesn't save the images).
Well, backing up your wordpress blog isn't really hard... all you need is a plugin that does that automatically for you.
Hi, Recently i transfered blogger blog to self hosted wordpress she paid 130USD.Judge yourself what is good.Blogger is not good for everybody.Specially who runs business through blog. THanks
Wordpress is my favorite blogging tool for it can be customized, especially with the help of the great community out there offering free themes. Blogger is also good but Wordpress is the best.
I have used both and vote for Wordpress. Either .com for not monetized and quick; .org for monetized and incorporating into a traditional web site. Plugins, stats, categories, tags, pages, akismet, the list goes on. There are also free hosting sites for Wordpress.org blogs to save cost. asEZasABnC Michael
Wordpress is more better than blogger. I use wordpress on all of my sites and it is simple to work with it. Wordpress has more choise for design too.
Wordpress is way too powerful and cool compared to blogspot. It Easy to customize and has a lot of free plugin and themes on the web.
Well, in my opinion you can start with blogger with custom domain and once enough popular you can always move to wordpress
wp provides you much more freedom than blogger...but if you want to start a free blog than blogger is good..wp supports many plugins as well which is an additional benefit..
There is a difference, of course, between wordpress.com and wordpress.org. The former is restrictive and the later is for on-site hosting. I have used both platforms and prefer self hosted .org. Yes, there are a slew of plugins and themes available. And lately there are more and more tutorials and very advanced free themes. The themes that carry a fee generally have technical support and free upgrades. asEZasABnC Michael DIY SEO Coach
