just what i need I have just taken over www.nintendogossip.com and Iam having problems being spammed by porn and drugs comments. can you fix this? somehow the spammers are getting past the membership requirement and posting dozens of spam comments daily. i only want to allow members to post. I even turned off wp-comments-post.php and they can still post. can you fix this bug?
yanton, WordPress comment spam can easily be fixed by yourself. Just install Spam Karma plugin. It automatically cuts off spam. If you don't like it, try Akismet. Let me know if you want to know how to install one of these plugins or want me to install on your blog for free.
