Take a look at the vBulletin to wordpress bridge. Make sure to get the proper version for your vB version. vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=134521 Also check on the vB forums for any word on IMPEX for such a situation.
RSS feeds work wonders at this, if you are talking about one specific blog, like a site related blog or whatever. This option is built into to vB and is certainly workable with WP... Log into your ACP and check out the RSS options for more information.
You can pull in ALL of the post (rather then a summery) if you replace {rss:description} with {rss:content:encoded} in the template section of the RSS feed in the ACP, effectively making it an all out post! That may actually be what you are looking for...
Im deadly in need of that.... the RSS method is not the best one as it does not import posts in chronological order... imported threads bears date of import or rss feed........ also it rss fetches not mor ethan 10 items (although it can be changed in wordpress setting to throw more than 10 items) Also the tables in the feed get disturbed (even using feed content:encoded)... So im looking for any import method rather thn goin for rss fetch.... tried using impex but it imports blog into vbulletin blog and I only have forum and not vbulletin blog...... btw im lookin for forum software which can effectively import wordpress blog ... then import that forum in my VB forum using impex (it imports almost all forums) Any suggestion or innovative idea to perform this task?
Is there a way to auto generate a link from your WP post to the vbulletin thread? I'm using the RSS Feed Manager to auto-create threads into vB but I don't know if there's a way to generate the corresponding thread link on the Wordpress post automatically.
