    Hi All,

I have a wordpress blog and a main site that is built in joomla, both have different domain names and server.

I want to have the blog now on my joomla site and would like to know what Blog extension do you recommended (easy blog, wordpress to joomla blog, etc). I want to also be able to port my previous posts on my wordpress blog to Joomla ( i have been working on it since months / year).

    So two questions:
    1. What blog platform will be best for Joomla?
    2. How do i transfer my wordpress posts to this new joomla blog?

Thanks for the suggestions in advance.

It sounds like WordBridge might do what you want. You can find it on the Joomla extensions directory under news-production --- blog.

It's a component in Joomla that takes all the blog posts from your wordpress.com site and displays them in the Joomla-based site. So you carry on using WordPress to write the blogs. Things like search blogs or sort by category work well.

It's new and there's still work to do (the WordPress API is quite limited) on things like comments but it is a free extension available under AGPL license.

Disclaimer - we wrote and donated it.
