wordpress themes...

    I have hired someone to make me a wordpress theme. I'm wondering about the different versions of wordpress. Are most of them compatible?

    For example, will a template for wordpress 2.1.3 work with wordpress 2.1.4?
    Or is each version of wordpress going to require different files and such?

    WordPress now has two different lines they are programming for; 2.0 and 2.1. The templates for 2.1 will work for all in the 2.1 line but not 2.0 and vice versa.

    OK then I will have him design for 2.1
    How much longer do you think they will be on the 2.1 series? Any idea?

    they are working with 2.2. it might be out soon. i hope its not much different
